Okay probably one of our favorite searching patterns and all around trout killers is this CDC pheasant tail soft hackle. We love this bug and over the years found this olive hackle works best. What's cool about a CDC soft hackle is the CDC actually captures tiny little air bubbles in its barbs creating that silvery shuck look like an emerger.
