WHAT IS COVERED?
Wild Bearings provides a Limited Lifetime Warranty for custom fly fishing rods from the date of original purchase against defect in materials or workmanship under normal use and service and is valid for the life of the product as long as you own the bamboo fly rod. Your rod is automatically registered upon shipping.
Limited Warranty
Wild Bearings rods are guaranteed for the life of the original owner to be free of defective material or workmanship. At our discretion, we will repair or replace confirmed defective material or workmanship issues only. Accidental breaks are not covered under this warranty. See return procedures below.
Repair Under Warranty
If you feel you have a warranty issue, call us at 706.344.8620 or email to support@wildbearings.com to discuss. There is a $25 fee for all repairs – even under warranty. Keep in mind that some components may vary between original and replacement parts.
If you return the rod, include a description of the needed repair, and your return address and phone and email information. Be sure to return the entire rod, broken pieces and all. This is critical so we can ensure ferrules fit properly. Pack the rod in its original or comparable packaging. You are responsible for shipping and insurance charges back to us. International customers must contact us for shipping information before returning your rod.
Repair for Accidental Breaks
Although accidental breaks are not covered under warranty, we will offer a quote to repair your rod. Call us at 706.344.8620 or email to info@wildbearings.com to discuss and receive an accidental repair quote.
When returning a rod, include a description of the need repair, and your return address and contact (phone and email) information. Be sure to return the entire rod, broken pieces and all. This is critical so we can be sure ensure ferrules fit properly. Pack the rod either in its original / comparable packaging. You are responsible for shipping and insurance charges back to us. International customers must contact us for shipping information before returning your rod.
Wild Bearings offers a basic warranty that outerwear items will be free from defects in material and workmanship occurring under normal use for a period limited to ninety (90) days from the date of the original purchase.
Wild Bearings offers a basic warranty for all other goods provided free of defect upon receipt of goods.
WHO IS COVERED? This warranty only covers the original purchaser of the product and cannot be transferred to any other person.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED?
This warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by misuse, lack of care, mishandling, accident, abuse, other abnormal use, storage damage, or use of the product other than for its intended purpose
- Damage caused by improper or unauthorized repair or maintenance
- We are not responsible if your custom flies don’t catch fish
- Any modifications or alterations of the product
- Normal wear and tear
- Cosmetic issues such as fading or scratches from normal wear
- Any other cause or damage not arising from defects in material and workmanship
- Lost tips or parts

SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY
Your sole and exclusive remedy and Wild Bearings’ exclusive liability under this Limited Warranty is for Wild Bearings, at its option, to either repair or replace the defective product. Repaired or replaced products will be warranted to the end of the warranty period set forth above for the product or 90 days from the repair or replacement of the product, whichever occurs first.
DISCLAIMERS
This Limited Warranty is the only warranty made to you for the product and is provided in lieu of any other express or implied warranties or similar obligations (if any) created by any advertising, documentation, packaging, or other communications. EXCEPT FOR THIS LIMITED WARRANTY AND TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WILD BEARINGS HEREBY DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
IN NO EVENT SHALL WILD BEARINGS OR ITS SUPPLIERS BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF THE PRODUCT, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, PROPERTY DAMAGE, LOSS OF VALUE OF THE PRODUCT OR LOSS OF USE OF THE PRODUCT, EVEN IF WILD BEARINGS HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
Wild Bearings does not authorize any person to assume or create for it any obligation or liability in connection with the product other than as expressly set forth herein.
